Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu circuit trek lies between Nepal and Tibet border of Nepal. It lies in the west-central region of Nepal. It is a remote area and still restricted trek. It requires a permit and experienced trekkers. The trek was opened in 1992 A.D. It is still not as popular to the trek like Everest and Annapurna trek. So, we can see less amount of trekkers. It still has untouched beauty and one of the best trekking destination with lesser crowd. The trails are offbeat. It starts from lower elevation with subtropical forest and leads to Larkya La, which is in the height of above 5100m. The path goes to the forest of rhododendron, pine, cedar, birch, juniper and beautiful meadows. The ridges, walking past rice terrace and crossing suspension bridges makes it more exciting. The main attraction of this trek is Manaslu conservation area and Mt. Manaslu (8163m), the eighth highest mountain of the World. It is surrounded by Annapurna to the west and Ganesh Himal to the East. There are around 33 species of mammal, 110 birds, 211 butterflies, 2000 flowering plant and 11 types of forest in Manaslu conservation area. Tsum Valley, also known as the hidden valley, shows the pure and original culture of people. The teahouses and hotels are less expensive than the other trek. Beautiful nature, flora and fauna, cultural practice and many more are the attraction of this trek.
