Tilicho Lake trek is one of the most popular treks in Nepal. It is the most attractive trek and attracts a vast number of tourists as this trek leads to the Tilicho lake. Tilicho lake is the highest altitude lake in the world, which is 4920m above. This trek might take 17 to 21 days long. This lake is surrounded by mountains like Khangsar, Muktinath peak, Nilgiri and Tilicho peak. It starts from Chamje following the Marsyangdi River. This trek covers beautiful villages, forests, lakes, and a lot more. We can experience different changes in climate and landscapes with various destinations passing in the trek. 

This trek is attached to Annapurna circuit trek routes. It is located in the trans-Himalayan region in Nepal. Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna Massifs, Mt Manaslu, Mt. Nilgiri, Mt. Hiunchuli, Lamjung Himal, Tukuche peaks, Tilicho peaks are the mountains that is viewed while passing the trek. It passes through the traditional village of the Buddhist community. This trek is not possible in winter because of icy trails, and the lake is frozen. This trek can be adventurous as the weather and climatic change can bring some difficulties in this trek. It is one of the best long-distance treks not only in Nepal but all over the world.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Besisahar by bus & shared jeep to Dharapani (1700 m, 7-8 hours)
Day 4: Trek to Chame (2630 m, 6-7 hours)
Day 5: Trek to Pisang (3300 m, 6-7 hours)
Day 6: Trek to Manang (3540 m, 4-5 hours)
Day 7:  Acclimatization Day
Day 8: Trek to Shree Kharka (4080 m, 5-6 hours)
Day 9: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp (4200 m, 5-6 hours)
Day 10:  Tilicho Base Camp – Tilicho Lake (4919 m) – Tilicho Base Camp (5-6 hours)
Day 11: Trek to Yakkharka (4000 m, 5-6 hours)
Day 12: Trek to Thorang Phedi (4450 m, 4-5 hours)
Day 13: Trek to Muktinath (3800 m  via Thorang La 5416 m, 8-9 hours)
Day 14: Trek to Muktinath – Kagbeni (2800 m via Jomsom 2720 m)
Day 15: Flight to Pokhara (800 m, 20 min)
Day 16: Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus (1400 m, 6-7 hours)
Day 17: Departure
